I'm very surprised there is no monk order focusing on technology and programming, in a similar vein to how these guys do a lot of building. There is no reason that Catholic church shouldn't have its own holy Linux distro, social media site, streaming site, etc...

Tolkien portrayed the Church as Ents for a reason. Had they started any of these, AI would have made the effort possibly wasted. All of this tech stuff is day one for the oldest organization in history.
