We have static software analysis tools today, they help find a lot of issues but are not infallible. Given how sophisticated new AI coding platforms are, I imagine in the near-term, we'll have radically more advanced code analysis tools that will close the majority of the security issues that slip past current generation static analysis tools. Will there be zero bugs, likely no but the attack surface is going to get smaller and smaller.
