You call your laptop "workstation"?
My laptop is shockingly competitive with my quite nice workstation.
(IMO the really impressive part is the thermals. My laptop can dissipate some 45W on a sustained basis, and my workstation takes quite a bit more than 45W to outperform my laptop.)
Technically it is... According the original vision for workstation, a computer with >1MB RAM, >1 megapixel of screen resolution, >1 MIPS and costing under 1 Mega cents (10K dollars).
However, so is my phone!
6 years ago i had a lenovo thinkpad p1, branded by lenovo as a portable workstation. Today i have macbook pro m5 max, much faster and more powerful than the lenovo, so why not call it a workstation?
