I have a Phrozen SLA printer, and I would actually appreciate it if they integrated their design with the resin formulation more. Sure, it sounds bad to be locked into some material ecosystem, but resins are just not 'plug and play' by default, as filament is in FDM printing.

I just want it to print and not study chemistry & physics before doing anything. Formlabs seems to be able to deliver that.
