The server islands are completely optional tho, if you don’t want to use them, you don’t have to. For a simple blog you can just use collections, and plain HTML/CSS.

I’ve used Astro for more complex applications, and it’s perfectly suitable for that too.

Of course, if you’re building an SPA, then it’s probably not the best choice.
