Following this logic, shouldn’t we all just do nothing and parish in the same spot we’re standing in?

I am still curious: when is it acceptable to hope that something is actually going to work well enough when handed over to the government?
Firefighters, schools, tax collection, well fare programs
Or are you suggesting these would turn as problematic as zero-privacy surveillance systems in case the government becomes totalitarian?
