Yeah, I think this one might be the straw that broke the camel's back and our team will look to migrate to something non-microsoft to be away from this nonsense.
What are the alternatives?
My company is migrating repositories over to a self-hosted forgejo instance, currently very jealous of the engineers working on those migrated repos.
Azure DevOps (Also MS owned but more stable than GitHub), GitLab, Codeberg, etc.
More stable because its vastly less popular.
And if you thought the GitHub actions hybrid mix of JavaScript templates embedded in yaml was a nightmare, I have bad news for you with respect to ADO pipeline configuration documents...
