Viteus | Contract Engineer Opportunities — AI Production Support (Full-Stack, AI/ML, QA, DevOps) | REMOTE | Contract

Viteus is Alteus's production support service for AI-built applications, delivered in partnership with vitX. We work with enterprises and scale-ups across APAC to audit, refactor, and support AI-built apps in production.

When we win client engagements, we match contractors from the network onto projects based on skills fit, availability, and role requirements.

The Opportunity:

We are inviting independent contractors with experience across the following disciplines to register interest for matching against upcoming client engagements:

  Full-Stack Engineering
  AI/ML Engineering
  QA / Test Engineering
  Test Managers / Test Leads
  DevOps Engineering

Matched contractors are typically paired onto 1-week Express Audits or multi-week refactor and production support engagements, working alongside senior Tech Leads, Delivery Managers, and vitX Delivery Leads.

What You Will Do

  Work on production-grade AI applications for enterprise clients across APAC.
  Contribute to audit deliverables: risk shortlists, architecture assessments, vulnerability lists, smoke tests, AI risk flags.
  Support refactor and stabilisation work on AI-built apps handed over from client teams.
  Operate day-to-day inside a modern AI toolchain — Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, agent frameworks, and MCP-based workflows are standard.
  Report into a senior lead who owns delivery quality and client communication
