Backend and cloud-native platform engineer with 5+ years of experience building production APIs, distributed systems, Kubernetes platforms and Infrastructure as Code. I've built REST services in Django and Go, designed a Kubernetes-native workflow orchestration platform used by U.S. National Laboratories for predictive national critical infrastructure analysis, developed custom Kubernetes Operators and automated cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, Docker, Helm and GitLab CI/CD. I enjoy solving backend and platform problems, designing APIs, building developer tooling, automating deployments and approaching development with a test first mentality. Lately I've been focused on Go, Kubernetes internals, observability and the intersection of platform engineering and AI infrastructure.
