In a global look at the economy the US fared better than most other countries in what was a global downturn after the post-COVID free-money boom tailed off. But yeah, Trump has shown in the past over and over that he is definitely the person to make sure things are done financially responsibly. From his dozens of bankruptcies, known history of not paying contractors and lawyers, and his multiple lawsuits for being a slumlord. So how could you have seen this coming?
